If you don't know who this man than say hello Giorgio Moroder. Chances are youve heard his music production and not even know it. He has produced for Donna Summer and kicked out many disco jams. Giorgio has done soundtracks for a bunch of movies in the 1980s including the theme for "Never ending story". He loves synthesizers and they love him back because he makes them sing with sometimes cheesey but always romantized sounds. Here is a track by Giorgio with Phil Oakey (the lead singer from the band The Human League). I picked this song because im pretty sure this is were the French record label (Valarie records) got there name. This song makes me chuckle but I still love it. Also I've posted tracks that I find "Moroderesque".
Giorgio Moroder & Phil Oakey- Valerie
not a one of his masterpieces but I recommend dancing with a serious scowl on your face while using dangerous amounts elbow swinging.

Dutch producer Alden Tyrell sound is pretty much in direct lineage from Moroders synth forward dreamscapes. This guy is very talented.

Nightwaves is part of that 80s synth revivalist crew (just like artists on Valarie records). The original is OK but Vega's Italo treatment is spot on. With a warm melting vocoded vocals it will make you forget that Auto-tuning ever existed. It like a sunny day on the Italian riviera in 1982 were a perfect bronze women sunbathes on the beach. Her beauty slows time and her swimsuit and sunglasses combined cost more than a new Vespa.

Dont know much about Archeteq or Crusin' Gang. I do know that Crusin' Gang is a bad ass name. This one is like a sunset
(Ha! perfect for this blog eh). Who knows? Maybe your driving the beach goddess back to your Villa in a Ferrari hahaha, sweet dreaming.
